3rd Members Meetup + Assembly
Our meetup hosts were spectacular as always. This time the role went to Electrocoin so thank you so much for borrowing your office to us. A huge shout out to Ružica and the whole Electrocoin team for organizing this amazing meetup! This time the meetup topics were Blockchain emerging technologies - from hype to reality and Introduction to Fintech which stimulated a discussion that lasted long after the presentations were finished. As a part of the meetup we’ve held an official assembly where we voted on bylaws and on our Supervisory Board. Congratulations to Ida Pandur, Matea Hanžek and Maja Benčić for officially constituting the Alice in Blockchains Supervisory Board!
Alice in NEARland workshop vol 2
Repetition is the mother of learning, right? As we’ve almost doubled in size since our first Web 3.0 workshop organized by NEAR Balkans, we’ve decided to do another edition of the workshop for new members to understand the distinctions between web2 and web3, as well as the purpose of wallets and for the ones who already participated to get a chance to repeat.
Alices at conferences
Our president Magda Milas was a guest speaker at the Tech Hosted By Lanaco on Fintech revolution and Web 3.0 payments as well as the Zagreb: Banking and Financial Center conference. Our board member Petra Horvatović talked about AI and art at the AI2FUTURE conference and about the true value of NFTs at the Learn to Invest conference.
Alice in Blockchains vice president Belma Gutlić flew to Colombia to participate at this year's Devcon Bogota conference and then flew back to be a part of Women in Engineering conference & the Blockchain panel at FER, while Anamaria Žuvanić attended the Crypto Assets Conference in Frankfurt. LEAP Women was joined by 2 Alices, Magda and Belma.
